Guardian is a private, household-operated application. It is not offered for public registration. This notice describes the application's use of Google account information in its household backup and organizational functions.
When an account owner authorizes Google Drive access, Guardian's backup integration may access Drive files and folders necessary to upload, organize, verify, and recover household backup data. Separate authorized household features may access Google Calendar events and email information for user-requested scheduling or travel management. The Google permissions requested depend on the feature enabled.
Google Drive access is used to store and retrieve backups and supporting files on behalf of the account owner. Related information may be processed locally on the Guardian server to manage synchronization, check results, and support recovery. Guardian does not offer public accounts or advertising.
Application data and authentication credentials are maintained in the household's privately operated systems and authorized Google accounts. Data may be stored in Google Drive as directed by the account owner. Guardian does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Access is limited to the household and the service providers required to operate the selected features, including Google. Retention and removal of backup files are controlled through the household's backup configuration and Google account management.
The account owner can revoke Google access through Google Account security settings and can request deletion of Guardian-managed local data and Drive backup files through the household administrator. Revocation stops future authorized API access but does not itself remove existing backup copies. Guardian uses account authorization and access controls to reduce unauthorized access; no storage system can be guaranteed risk-free.
